I’ve always been a huge fan of small dog breeds, and dachshunds, often called weeny dogs, hold a special place in my heart. One tip I’d share with new dachshund owners is to watch out for their back health because their long spine can be prone to injury. Avoid letting them jump off furniture or climb stairs excessively.
