Well, for me, that 'oops' moment often feels a bit heavier, tied to my journey as a stroke survivor. There are days when the recovery feels endless, and you just want to feel like you again – vibrant, strong, and yes, a total 'baddie'! That morning, I truly had a heart-to-heart with myself, and maybe a little talk with the universe, asking for that spark back. And it got me thinking: what does it really mean to feel like a 'baddie' after going through something so life-altering? For me, it's not just about appearances, though feeling put-together certainly helps. It's about reclaiming my inner strength, my confidence, and my zest for life, even with the new challenges I face. My journey to feeling like a 'baddie' again has been all about small, consistent steps. It started with acknowledging that it's okay to have off days, but it's also crucial to not let them define my entire recovery. One of the biggest shifts was in my mindset. Instead of dwelling on what I couldn't do, I started celebrating every tiny victory – being able to walk a little further, holding a cup without spilling, or even just having the energy to do my hair. These might seem like minor things, but they are monumental when you're rebuilding your life. I also realized the power of self-care, not as a luxury, but as a necessity. This means everything from finding gentle exercises that work for my current abilities, to making sure I'm nourishing my body with good food, and even just taking a few minutes each day to meditate or listen to music that uplifts me. Sometimes, it’s about putting on an outfit that makes me feel good, even if I’m just staying home. It’s about looking in the mirror and seeing the resilient person I am, not just the challenges I've faced. Connecting with others who understand has also been a game-changer. Sharing my mini-vlogs and experiences, even the tough days, helps me feel less alone and more connected. It’s a reminder that everyone has their own version of an 'oops' moment, and we all deserve to feel empowered and confident through it all. So, if you're on your own recovery journey, remember: your 'baddie' spirit is still in there. Keep nurturing it, keep fighting for it, and keep celebrating every step forward. We've got this!
