Today is the day of Vesak.
🌍 Vesak, the International Day of the World 🌎 Vesak Day, is a day when Buddhists around the world commemorate three important events that coincide with the 15th evening of the sixth month:
✨ Nativity.
Prince Dhatta was born at Lumbini Park.
✨ Enlightenment.
He was enlightened as the Buddha Samma under the Sri Mahabodhi tree.
✨, Prince Nirvana.
He extinguished the Pranirvana at Kusinara.
These three events happened on the same day, different years, and are therefore the most important Buddhist day.

The key teachings to apply are
"Do good, spare evil, and make your heart clear."

ในฐานะคนที่ได้มีโอกาสร่วมกิจกรรมในวันวิสาขบูชาหลายปี ผมพบว่าวันนี้ไม่ใช่แค่วันสำคัญทางพุทธศาสนาเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการสร้างความสงบใจ และสะท้อนกลับมาถึงการดำเนินชีวิตของตัวเอง ทุกครั้งที่เข้าวัดเพื่อเวียนเทียนรอบพระอุโบสถ ผมรู้สึกถึงความเป็นหนึ่งเดียวของชุมชนและพลังแห่งศรัทธาที่รวมกันอยู่ ณ ที่แห่งนั้น บรรยากาศเงียบสงบช่วยให้จิตใจผ่องใส พร้อมรับพลังงานบวกและความรู้สึกขอบคุณที่มีในชีวิต นอกจากเวียนเทียนแล้ว การรักษาศีลและฟังธรรมยังช่วยเติมเต็มจิตใจให้สดชื่นและมีสติในการดำเนินชีวิต ผมเองได้นำคำสอน "ทำความดี ละเว้นความชั่ว และทำจิตใจให้ผ่องใส" มาเป็นแนวทางในทุกวัน ทำให้รู้สึกว่าชีวิตมีความหมายและมีคุณค่า และที่สำคัญคือ เมื่อผมได้ตั้งจิตอธิฐานในวันวิสาขบูชาว่า ขอให้ตัวเองและครอบครัวมีความสุข เจริญรุ่งเรือง อุดมทรัพย์และอุดมโชค เหมือนคำในภาพที่ว่า "สาธุ สาธุ สาธุ" มันเหมือนเป็นการเติมกำลังใจให้กับชีวิต ทำให้รู้สึกมีพลังและมีความหวังในการทำหน้าที่ในแต่ละวัน ดังนั้นวันวิสาขบูชาในความคิดของผมจึงเป็นเหมือนจุดเริ่มต้นใหม่สำหรับคนที่อยากเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเองในทุกๆ ปี อีกทั้งยังเป็นวันที่ทำให้ผมได้เชื่อมโยงกับคุณค่าทางศาสนาและความสงบภายในจิตใจอย่างแท้จริง
