Okay, so like many of you, I've fallen victim to the Target impulse aisle! My recent haul included two popular Soap & Glory body washes: the Smoothie Star Hydrating Body Wash and the *Clean On Me Hydrating Body Wash*. I was hoping to find some gems, and after using them for a bit, I wanted to share my initial thoughts and see if they align with your experiences! First up, the *Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Hydrating Body Wash*. The first thing you notice is that unmistakable sweet almond and honey scent – it's like dessert in the shower! The texture is a creamy cleansing blend, and it lathers up really nicely. My skin definitely felt soft and moisturized after using it, thanks to the Sweet Almond Oil and Honey mentioned in its ingredients. It comes in a generous 500 ml bottle with a cute beige and pink design, which is always a bonus for my shower aesthetic. It's definitely a luxurious experience for a drugstore find. Then there's the *Soap & Glory Clean On Me Hydrating Body Wash*. This one boasts a 'built-in body lotion' with Mandarin Extract, and I was really curious about that claim. The scent is a classic Soap & Glory pink, floral yet fresh, thanks to that Mandarin. It's also a 500 ml bottle, with its signature pink and white design. I found it to be incredibly conditioning. My skin felt noticeably smoother and less dry straight out of the shower, almost as if I'd already applied a light lotion. It laters beautifully and feels truly pampering. So, were they worth the money? For me, yes! Both offer a fantastic sensory experience and deliver on hydration. They make my shower routine feel a bit more special without breaking the bank. However, everyone's skin is different. Some might find the scents a bit strong, or prefer a completely fragrance-free option. It really depends on your personal preferences and skin type. When you're on the hunt for a new body wash, here are a few things I always keep in mind: Skin Type: Do you have dry, oily, sensitive, or combination skin? Look for ingredients that cater to your needs – hydrating ingredients like shea butter or hyaluronic acid for dry skin, or salicylic acid for body acne. Scent Preference: This is huge! Do you like fruity, floral, fresh, or unscented? Test them out if you can! Ingredients: I always check for harsh sulfates if my skin is feeling sensitive, and look for nourishing oils or extracts. Lather: Do you prefer a rich, foamy lather or something more subtle? Value: Consider the size of the bottle and how long it lasts versus its price. I'm still exploring, so if you've tried the Smoothie Star or Clean On Me and have thoughts, or if you have any other holy grail body wash recommendations from Target or elsewhere, please drop them below! I'm always on the lookout for my next favorite shower product to make my routine a little more luxurious.
