The Times Square ball has officially retired!

The current iteration of the Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball is the eighth since the tradition began in 1907 and has been on display since 2008. @onetimessquarenyc will welcome a brand-new Ball and Numerals for next year’s New Year’s Eve celebration.

The current Ball has officially retired and will be displayed inside One Times Square as part of the new Times Travel immersive history experience, which is opening to the public in the fall!
