... Read moreIf you’re planning a trip to Seoul and want to truly experience the city beyond just the usual tourist spots, a well-structured itinerary is key. Over my 6-day stay, I discovered that each neighborhood has its own unique vibe and specialties, especially for food enthusiasts. One thing I noticed is how popular Gimgane Kimbab near Myeongdong Station is among locals and travelers alike. This spot serves classic Korean kimbab that’s both affordable and delicious – perfect for a quick meal between sightseeing. If you’re around Myeongdong, don’t miss out on other street food gems like Ssada Gimbab and Eggdrop for unique tastes. Seoul’s vibrant culture is also best experienced by visiting places like the Ikseon-dong Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace, where tradition and history come alive. Don’t forget to relax at Hangang Park or Seoul Forest Park to get some fresh air amid your busy itinerary. For those considering longer trips, I recommend setting aside part of your travel for Suwon and Jeonju, where historical fortresses and traditional food await. Planning ahead with these suggestions helped me balance busy sightseeing days with delicious meals and some leisurely park strolls. Based on my personal experience, aiming for a mix of popular locations and hidden gems makes your Seoul visit more authentic and memorable. Also, using apps and local guides to navigate food spots and cultural sites helped me maximize every day’s adventure.
