I've felt this deeply in my own life—one moment you’re a child full of wonder, and the next you’re navigating adulthood with all its responsibilities and joys. It’s a bittersweet process, but I believe embracing each phase helps us appreciate how far we’ve come. Being tagged with hashtags like #blessed and #nz reminds me of the importance of recognizing the positive influences and environments that shape us. Whether it’s the support of family, cultural background, or community, these elements anchor us as we grow. For those raised in diverse places, such as Fiji or New Zealand, combining different cultures in your upbringing adds a rich layer to your identity. It’s fascinating how these diverse cultural roots influence values, traditions, and outlooks on life. Personally, I find celebrating these differences helps me stay grounded and proud of my journey. If I could offer advice from my experience, it would be to slow down sometimes and absorb the little moments—not just milestones like graduations or anniversaries. The everyday small victories and quiet times shape who we become even more than the big events. Remembering this can make the rapid pace of growing up feel less overwhelming and more meaningful. At the end of the day, growing up fast doesn’t mean missing out; it means evolving into a new version of yourself continuously. Cherish that process and all the blessings along the way.
