Taiwan Food Vlog Part 2 š¤¤
During my visit to Taipei, I had the chance to indulge in a variety of street foods that truly capture the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. One standout was the Kimchi Pan-fried Dumpling ā a delightful fusion of tangy kimchi and crispy dumpling skin, though some found it milder than expected in scallion aroma compared to traditional flavors. Another highlight was the Raohe Fried Egg Scallion Pancake at Raohe Night Market; while it may lack a strong scallion fragrance, its texture was surprisingly enjoyable. Pin Zhen Golden Roast Pork was a personal favorite, boasting a perfect balance of super crispy skin and succulent meat, making each bite incredibly satisfying. At Dihua Street, Yong Le Che Lun Bing offered a generous filling, especially notable in the citrus custard variant, which provided a refreshing twist on the classic treat. I also tried TKK Fried Chickenās popular kwa kwa baoāglutinous rice enveloped with deep-fried chicken skināan absolutely must-try for crispy texture lovers. Tamsuiās traditional Ah Gei on Old Tamsui Street presented an old-school taste that was both authentic and nostalgic, freshly fried right on the spot. For those who appreciate delicate steamed buns, Han Koi Bao Zi in Ximending served soft and chewy buns packed with juicy meat. Not to be missed is the Ah Tian Yang Rou Geng seafood soup, highly praised for its rich flavor and tender cuttlefish, making it the perfect comfort food on chilly nights. Overall, Taipeiās street food scene is a vibrant mix of textures and flavors, from salty prawn rolls to hearty soups. Every market and street corner offers something unique that enriches the travel and culinary experience. If youāre planning a trip to Taiwan, these local delights should definitely be on your food itinerary.
