Tyler's Art Dump
He's a big fan of cute things, cats, and robots. He's also a great singer and has many musical toys and microphones. I gave birth alone so I played Hallelujah by the Pentatonix on a speaker for hours. That was the first sound he heard coming into this world. I might have been very ill during that pregnancy, but he came out perfectly healthy. Giving birth to healthy, strong, smart babies will always be one of my biggest blessings in this life. I played Berhana quite a bit when he was a baby to help him sleep. I know Berhana's entire discography because of it. I have one son that could be drafted into the NFL, is a great model and very talented with a camera. I have another son who is very creative, tech savy, and loves music and singing. As a joke, I tell people all I need is a daughter to be into acting and whatever side quest she wants. I hope all the promises of God comes true and we could be a powerhouse of a family. On top of that, all of us are prayerful Christians who love to help others. Life might have thrown me for a dozen loops, but I'm blessed regardless. Being a mom is my favorite job in this entire world and that's never changed.
Oh and my favorite verse from the Hallelujah song is "Well, maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah." To me that symbolizes that the most potent Hallelujahs come from the most broken of places. Those who praise in their storms. #childoftheking #childofgod #artistic #familyalbum #Lemon8Diary
As a mother, I find that music often becomes the soundtrack of our family’s journey, marking special moments and emotions that words alone can’t capture. Playing Hallelujah by Pentatonix during the birth was more than just a choice of song: it was a way to bring calm and hope into an intense, vulnerable moment. Music’s soothing power, especially during pregnancy and early childhood, can be both comforting and bonding. I have also noticed how particular artists or songs often become linked to different stages of life in our household. For example, Berhana’s tunes helped soothe my son to sleep, creating a peaceful bedtime routine. Such shared musical experiences contribute not only to children’s development but also strengthen our family bonds. Raising kids with diverse talents—from athleticism and modeling to technology and music—has been an incredible adventure. Encouraging each child's unique passions helps them grow into confident individuals who can pursue their dreams, much like I hope for my hypothetical daughter to find her own side quests, whether in acting or any other creative pursuit. Faith plays a crucial role in our family’s resilience. The verse from Hallelujah resonates deeply because it acknowledges that often our strongest praises come from times of struggle. Celebrating broken Hallelujahs reminds us to embrace both the joy and the pain in life’s journey. Staying prayerful and supportive helps us navigate challenges while fostering a compassionate spirit. Being a mom is undoubtedly the most rewarding role for me. Every loop life throws our way only confirms how blessed I am to nurture and witness the growth of such extraordinary children. Embracing the imperfect, beautiful chaos of family life with music, creativity, and faith continues to enrich my heart every day.
