จากประสบการณ์การเตรียมพร้อมและสมัคร EB-3 วีซ่าสำหรับงานที่สหรัฐฯ ผมอยากเสริมว่า กระบวนการนี้แม้จะใช้เวลานานประมาณ 3.5-5 ปี แต่คุ้มค่ากับโอกาสในการได้งานทำถูกกฎหมายและกรีนการ์ดแบบถาวร ที่สำคัญ ควรเตรียมตัวตั้งแต่เนิ่นๆ โดยเฉพาะขั้นตอนการขอใบรับรองแรงงาน (Labor Certification) ที่นายจ้างจะต้องดำเนินการกับ DOL (กระทรวงแรงงานสหรัฐฯ) ซึ่งถือเป็นขั้นตอนหลักที่ต้องรอบคอบ นอกจากนี้ การเตรียมตัวสำหรับสัมภาษณ์ที่สถานทูตสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำกรุงเทพฯ ก็เป็นเรื่องที่ควรให้ความสำคัญ เช่น การเตรียมเอกสารครบถ้วน การฝึกตอบคำถามสัมภาษณ์ และการทำแบบทดสอบสุขภาพ (Medical Exam) ที่ต้องไม่มีโรคต้องห้าม เช่น วัณโรค หรือโรคติดต่ออื่นๆ ตามเงื่อนไข อีกเรื่องสำคัญคือ หากคุณอยู่ในสหรัฐฯ ด้วยวีซ่าชั่วคราวเช่น J1, F1 หรือ E2 ต้องแน่ใจว่าวีซ่าและสถานะการศึกษาหรือทำงานยังถูกต้องและสมบูรณ์ เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดปัญหากับการขอเปลี่ยนสถานะหรือยื่นขอ EB-3 สำหรับผู้สมัครควรมีภาษาอังกฤษระดับ B1 เพื่อสื่อสารในที่ทำงานได้ดี และไม่มีประวัติอาชญากรรมหรือเกินกำหนดวีซ่าในอเมริกา ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น อย่าลืมว่าการทำงานกับนายจ้างอย่างน้อย 12 เดือนเป็นเกณฑ์ที่สำคัญสำหรับความสำเร็จของเคสนี้ สุดท้าย ผมแนะนำให้เข้าร่วมกลุ่ม Facebook เช่น "Green card EB3 (ใบเขียว) AMERICA" เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและอัพเดตการเปลี่ยนแปลงล่าสุดของกระบวนการ EB-3 จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การได้รับคำแนะนำและการแบ่งปันจากคนที่ผ่านกระบวนการนี้มาจะช่วยให้เราเตรียมตัวได้ดียิ่งขึ้น และเพิ่มโอกาสสำเร็จได้มากขึ้นจริงๆ
