PPA/PPD ❤️‍🩹

I’m not one to usually document myself crying but with my first baby, it helped show me there is a light at the end of the tunnel… even when my brain and hormones would make me feel like there wasn’t. I’ve hallucinated. I’ve raged. I’ve cried all day. There is no shame in taking/upping medication, asking for help, or needing a break. 🤍I’m 4 months PP with 2 under 2, and the sun is finally feeling a little brighter these days, though some I still don’t want to step into it. You can’t pour from an empty cup. To take care of your babies, you HAVE to take care of yourself first. You are loved and needed. 🫶🏻 #postpartum #ppd #ppa #motherhood #fyp

I used to think there were all these rules: you have to have a corporate job, you have to have timelines and deadlines, and that if I was unhappy because of my job that was normal, no one loves to work in corporate America… But then I quit and I realized how good using my free will feels. I’m final

A woman kneels beside three children in strollers on a sidewalk, smiling at the camera. The image has text overlays 'Overcoming PPD/Anxiety' and 'SWIPE', indicating a series of tips for managing postpartum depression and anxiety.
A screenshot displays two walking activity logs from a fitness app. The first shows a 3.27-mile walk in 27:46, and the second shows a 3.12-mile walk in 31:44. Text overlays read 'WALKING' and 'Boosts my mood SO MUCH'.
A hand holds various supplements and medications, including Lexapro, Vitamin D, Magnesium Glycinate, and prenatal vitamins. The image is titled 'Supplements & Medicine', detailing the specific types and dosages.
Overcoming PPD/Anxiety 😢
Some of these things that I’ve mentioned seem like common sense when you think about it. But it’s the CONSISTENCY that makes them helpful in your postpartum journey. After my second miscarriage in 2020 I was diagnosed with PPD/PPA & Postpartum OCD. Covid didn’t help with all of the pressure

Survived PPD getting my pink back 🌸✨🤍
🤍 my name is Selena, I have two daughters ages 3, & 1. I was diagnosed with infertility/ PCOS at the age of 22. (28 now) 🤍 growing up I didn’t have my mom around due to her drug addiction, so my aunt adopted me which I’m forever grateful for but that house lacked a lot of emotional support.
