Y’all know I’ve been on this journey of sharing and discovering my favorite local farms here in Utah! I want to know where my food is coming from, and I genuinely want to know the people that are growing it. Utah has an incredibly rich history in farming and agriculture!
📍 @Rileys Genola in Genola, Utah (a little past Spanish Fork in Utah County)
Hours: sun up to sundown
Price: REALLY affordable!
What they are: A farm where you can go pick your own produce — they have the best raspberries south of Bear Lake imho. I said what I said!
** If you don’t want the experience of picking your own produce, or you’re in a hurry, they have produce they’ve picked in their store ready to go! Grab an apple slush!!
They are kind, helpful, local, and I have been back several times this year to support them. Our local farmers need us.
Keep following along for more of my favorite farms and stores here in Utah!
Visiting Riley’s Genola farm offers a unique connection to Utah's agricultural roots that I truly appreciate. There’s something special about being able to pick your own produce—especially when it’s as delicious as their raspberries. It’s not only a fun activity but a way to support local farmers who rely on community support to thrive. What I love most is the combination of convenience and authenticity. If you’re strapped for time or want to skip picking, you can simply grab their pre-picked fruits and even try the apple slush, which is a refreshing treat after wandering the fields. The farm’s openness from sun up to sundown gives you plenty of flexibility to visit on your schedule. The affordability factor means you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy fresh, quality fruits straight from the earth. Also, talking to the kind farm staff adds a personal touch that reminds you where your food really comes from—hands-on cultivation and hard work by local growers. For families, nature lovers, or anyone curious about where their food originates, Riley’s Genola is a great place to learn and taste while creating memorable experiences. I’ve found that supporting local farms like this one not only enriches your diet but also strengthens our community’s economy and sustainability efforts.
