While I haven't encountered a 'Ruby' in my recent reads yet, I'm always on the lookout for those vibrant, unforgettable personalities that light up a story. While 'Yours Truly' promises a delightful contemporary romance, and 'Real Americans' offers a deep dive into identity, sometimes a quick, impactful short story collection is just what I need to cleanse my reading palate or discover a new author's style before committing to a longer work. They remind me that great storytelling comes in all shapes and sizes.
