Sims 4 - BABY CHALLENGE 😱
My sim ended up being so tired she crashed out on the floor! I could only get to six babies at the same time before I got irritated! Let me know what to try next!
My recent attempt at the Sims 4 100 Baby Challenge was… well, a complete and utter disaster! Seriously, after just six babies, my poor matriarch Sim was so utterly exhausted she passed out right there on the floor. I know I mentioned being irritated in my initial post, but 'irritated' doesn't even begin to cover the level of delightful chaos that erupted in my virtual household. It got me thinking about how creators like Kelsey Impicciche and AlexxNextDoor make this challenge look almost manageable, while my Sim was struggling just to stay awake! The 100 Baby Challenge is notorious for a reason. It's not just about getting pregnant; it's about the relentless cycle of feeding, changing, skill-building, and maintaining the sanity of one adult Sim while dozens of tiny humans demand attention. Every moodlet is critical, every toddler tantrum feels like a personal affront, and finding a moment for your matriarch to even use the toilet becomes a strategic puzzle. One of the biggest lessons I learned, perhaps too late, is the sheer impact of infant traits. If only all my little ones could be a 'CALM INFANT' like the one in that image I saw, saying they are less likely to get angry or become overwhelmed by activities! Imagine the difference a house full of placid little 'Jarods' would make. Instead, I seemed to get a rotating cast of 'Fussy' and 'Intense' infants, turning every diaper change into a full-blown emergency and every feeding session into a race against the clock before their hunger bar went completely red. Managing their needs, especially in the early stages where they can't even sleep through the night, is a marathon. You quickly learn to appreciate every second of quiet when they're actually sleeping, or when a friendly ghost happens to pop by and entertain them for a moment. So, what are my (hard-won) tips for anyone brave enough to embark on this journey? Firstly, prioritize sleep for your matriarch. Seriously, let them sleep on the floor if they have to, just like mine did! Secondly, invest in good aspiration rewards like 'Connections' to make befriending nannies easier. Nannies can be a lifesaver, even if they occasionally leave a baby on the floor. Thirdly, embrace the 'Age Up' option! While some challenge rules restrict it, if you're just playing for fun, aging up a toddler to a child can instantly free up so much of your matriarch's time. Watching Sims 4 challenge content from seasoned players like Kelsey Impicciche often highlights the organized chaos they manage to achieve. They often have dedicated playrooms, efficient feeding stations, and a clear strategy for managing the influx of new babies. AlexxNextDoor’s attempts also show the humorous side of the struggle, reminding us that even the best Simmers can have their moments of utter pandemonium. It's inspiring to see how they juggle everything, and it gives me hope for my next attempt! I'm definitely going to try this challenge again, perhaps with a more strategic approach to infant traits and a whole lot more coffee for my real-life self.
