New Strawberry Alani 🍓

Tried the new Strawberry sunrise Alani Nu while on a spontaneous road trip to adopt a dog from a shelter 3 hours away. Overall rating:7.5 /10: it was good but the flavor was just not as good as I hoped it would be. Kind of tasted like strawberry Fanta. I would say the Ultra Strawberry Dreams Monster Energy is way better taste wise.

... Read moreOkay, so let's dive a little deeper into this Alani Nu Strawberry Sunrise experience! When I first heard about a new strawberry flavor, I was so excited. I adore strawberry-flavored things, especially in my energy drinks. The can itself, a beautiful red, definitely caught my eye – and the label clearly states 'Strawberry Sunrise Flavored with Other Natural Flavors,' which always piques my curiosity about what those 'other' flavors might be. Upon cracking open this 12 FL OZ can of 0-sugar energy, my first impression was a pleasant, sweet aroma. The taste, however, was a bit of a surprise. My initial thought was, 'Wow, this really does taste like Strawberry Fanta!' It's got that very specific, slightly artificial, bubbly strawberry soda vibe. It’s not necessarily bad, but I was hoping for something a bit more vibrant or perhaps a fresher, more authentic strawberry punch. The 'sunrise' part, to me, didn't really come through as a citrusy or bright note; it felt more like a candied strawberry. It gave me a decent energy boost, as Alani Nu usually does, without any jitters or crash, which is always a plus. Now, about the comparison: I mentioned the Ultra Strawberry Dreams Monster Energy, and I stand by it being superior for my personal taste. What makes it better? For me, the Monster has a creamier, slightly more nuanced strawberry flavor that feels less artificial and more like a strawberry milkshake without the heaviness. The Alani Nu Strawberry Sunrise is much brighter and more tart, leaning heavily into that candy-like Fanta profile. If you love that specific kind of soda strawberry, you'll probably enjoy this Alani Nu. But if you're like me and prefer a creamier, more natural-tasting strawberry, you might find it a little lacking. For those wondering 'when is strawberry sunrise alani coming back?' or where to find it – new Alani Nu flavors often debut at specific retailers like Target or Vitamin Shoppe, and sometimes they're seasonal or limited edition. Keep an eye on Alani Nu's official social media channels and local store listings, as they often announce restocks or wider availability there. Don't give up hope if you can't find it right away! Overall, while the Strawberry Sunrise Alani Nu was a fun try on my spontaneous road trip, it probably won't be my go-to flavor. It's a solid 7.5/10 for me – good, but there are other strawberry contenders I prefer. Still, if you're an Alani Nu fan and love a good, sweet, soda-like strawberry, it's definitely worth giving a shot!
