Thrifted book haul!

Thrifting for books has always been one of my favorite ways to expand my collection without breaking the bank. This week, I managed to find some really interesting titles that I hadn’t heard much about but was drawn to because of their intriguing vibes and covers. For instance, the mention of ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) instantly caught my attention as it’s a beloved fantasy series known for its compelling world and characters. Even though I had only 'vibe read' it before without owning a copy, finding it thrifted made me excited to revisit the story. In addition to ACOTAR, I scored some other titles like "Monsters" by Navessa Allen and "Roses" by Adrian x Isolde. These books have alluring titles that suggest a mix of fantasy and emotional storytelling. What I love about thrifted books is the element of surprise – you might find something by an author you've never heard of that turns out to be a new favorite. The physical aspect of a thrifted book also adds charm – the slight wear and the history embedded in its pages feel special. For anyone interested in building a diverse to-be-read (TBR) pile, thrift book hauls are a treasure trove. They often come with unique stories, and sometimes rare editions, that you can’t always find digitally or in stores. Plus, supporting thrift shops can be a sustainable way to enjoy reading.
