Pimple Emergency Hacks!

I don't usually get pimples, but when I do, they’re usually huge, hard, and painful nodular acne on my cheeks. NEVER squeeze them! I’ve been using this acne cream, and after a few days, the swelling goes down significantly. It takes time for the pimple to fully disappear usually within a month.

If your acne is really severe, I recommend seeing a doctor! My sister had severe acne and spent a lot of money on products that didn’t work. She eventually got it cleared up at a dermatology clinic after being diagnosed with severe acne. Do NOT go to small beauty salons they’ll only make it worse!

Over the past two years, my T-zone oiliness has increased, and if you can control your diet, try to eat lighter and avoid staying up late. As for me, I can’t control my eating habits, so I rely on products. I regularly exfoliate with acids, but only on my T-zone. I use The Ordinary 30% Glycolic Acid, applying about half a tube each time and leaving it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. I exfoliate every three days. If you’ve never used acid before, please make sure to do your research, especially if you have sensitive skin! Acids can be quite irritating, so it’s crucial to use them correctly.

Also, Cleansing (the most important part!!)

1️⃣ Double cleansing: I personally recommend using an oil cleanser first, followed by a regular face wash.

2️⃣ After cleansing, apply a mud mask (but don’t use acid and mud masks on the same day). After the mask, blackheads on your nose may come out. Use a pimple extractor to remove them, then apply a hydrating mask. There are tons of options on the market, but if you have sensitive skin, opt for a medical-grade mask.

3️⃣ Before bed, keep it simple with a toner and moisturizer. For oily skin, I suggest skipping the cream.

When you're treating acne, don’t forget to protect your skin from the sun! Sunscreen and protective clothing are essential. Avoid direct sunlight—it’ll help your skin heal faster.

Simple adjustments + patient care = results! Hope these tips help! 💖

... Read moreAcne can be distressing, especially when it manifests as painful nodular bumps. To ensure your skin stays clear, it’s crucial to follow a disciplined skincare routine. Start with deep cleansing using a gentle but thorough cleanser, applied both morning and night, focusing on the T-zone to eliminate excess oil and impurities. After cleansing, employ a treatment specifically designed for acne. Applying a small amount directly to affected areas can significantly calm inflammation and reduce redness. In addition to topical treatments, lifestyle adjustments can also aid in managing acne. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule allows your skin to repair itself overnight, while diet plays a pivotal role in skin health. Avoid consuming heavy, greasy, and sugary foods, as these can trigger excessive oil production and breakouts. Instead, prioritize low-sugar foods and hydration; aim for at least 1.5 liters of water daily. Using sunscreen is also vital, even when treating acne-prone skin. The right sunscreen protects against UV damage and helps in reducing pigmentation and acne scars. Furthermore, incorporating moderate exercise into your routine can boost overall skin condition by improving blood circulation and metabolism. Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of a warm compress after cleansing! This technique can enhance serum absorption and promote better circulation. Remember to stick with your routine and be patient; clearer skin is achievable with consistent care!
