It got me thinking about how we find inspiration for new characters, and sometimes that comes from existing universes we adore. Lately, I've seen a lot of buzz around 'Mew OCs' and 'Tokyo Mew Mew OCs,' and it's something that's definitely piqued my interest! The idea of creating a magical girl who's fused with an animal's DNA to fight aliens is just so cool. It's a different vibe from my ghost OCs, but the core joy of character creation is the same. I've been brainstorming what kind of animal I'd pick if I were to design a Mew Mew. Maybe a majestic snow leopard for a frosty touch, or a playful fennec fox with huge ears! It's a fantastic way to engage with a fandom you love, by contributing your own unique twist. The community around Tokyo Mew Mew OCs is so vibrant and supportive, and it's inspiring to see all the different takes people have on the concept. It makes me want to dust off my sketchbook and start designing a brand new Mew OC right now!
