college fears and worries !!
💭What's on my mind: i’m excited to start the spring semester but i am worried.
•online classes- i’ve never really been good at doing classes online. when covid hit i had to finish high school online, i was on independent study already so it was a ‘go at my own pace’ type of thing, having to switch from going in and having physical support from my teachers and peers to only have my household really put a toll on my progress, i graduated a year later than i was supposed to. even tho i’m worried about this however i will NOT be letting it get in the way of my success this time.
•being a SAHM- i’m taking my classes online to help me be able to stay home and take care of my two month old. the only worry with that is that i will have to put aside my schooling for her care, i will find a way to do both, we adapt as humans 🫶🏻

As you embark on your college journey, it's important to recognize and address common fears that many students face, especially with the challenges of online classes and personal commitments. One effective strategy is to establish a structured routine that dedicates specific times for studying, attending classes, and caring for your family. Prioritizing your tasks can help ensure that you remain productive while still being present for your loved ones. Additionally, don’t hesitate to reach out for support. Joining online forums or communities related to your course can provide valuable resources and networking opportunities. Engaging with peers can help alleviate feelings of isolation that often accompany online learning. Remember, many students share your struggles, and fostering connections with them can lead to mutual encouragement and practical advice. Consider utilizing educational technology tools designed to enhance your learning experience. Tools like digital planners or study apps can help you stay organized and on track, making it easier to manage both your studies and parenting duties. Lastly, maintain a positive mindset. Remind yourself of your strengths; you have the ability to adapt and overcome any obstacles that come your way. Keep visual reminders of your goals, whether through affirmations or a success board, to reinforce your determination to succeed despite your fears.
