Study Break 🌿💋

A little love for learning 💋💕

As a full time graduate student with a full time job, life gets busy. Study for exams and writing papers never sounds like a good idea.

When I get the chance, I like to study in public spaces that have pretty scenery or good food! 💋🥰

For me, feeling like people can see what I am doing helps keep me focus on school and not doom scrolling on social media 🤫

All in all, whatever you are studying, give it your all. Something drove you to learn about that topic, even if it was simply curiosity!

From my own experience, choosing study environments with nice scenery or great food can make a big difference. Not only does it provide a refreshing change of pace, but being in public spaces where others can see you working helps limit distractions such as endless scrolling on social media. Incorporating something uplifting or meaningful during study breaks can also boost morale. For example, reflecting on personal growth or inspirational texts during holidays like Ash Wednesday can add a spiritual or purposeful layer to your routine. This connection often renews energy and commitment to your goals. Additionally, building a mood board or keeping visual reminders of what you aim to achieve during your academic journey can enhance focus. Combining these strategies with scheduled short breaks helps maintain productivity without feeling overwhelmed. Ultimately, whether you're driven by curiosity or career ambitions, embracing these tactics makes the study process less daunting and more fulfilling. Remember to celebrate small milestones along the way—every step forward counts!
