The Bible was written for Christians. The call is coming from inside the house. As a Christian, I see each of these applying to the church following Trump and Netanyahu. All the resultant hate is hardening the hearts of believers. The lack of compassion for vulnerable and marginalized people speaks volumes, when contrasted with what Jesus taught. We are called to love, not disguise our judgmental tendencies beneath a cloak of righteousness and tough love. The word “but” should never be uttered in the same sentence as “love.”
