Many people fall dead when they go to the car tax because they think they're done with the annual tax bill, but the truth is, there's a hidden expense waiting to collect you on the counter.
If you don't want to crack your face or have to cycle back and press for more money, here's a fact you need to know what to prepare to pay:
1.Annual tax charge: Basic cost to be paid according to engine size (cc) and car age
2. Compulsory Insurance (Compulsory Insurance): Mandatory Law, No Document, Transportation Act does not apply to tax.
3. Car Condition Check (TROT): If your car is deficient to tax more than 1 year (or the car is over 7 years old), you will always be forced to check the condition of the car first.
4. Fines: when to defect, to be immediately fined 1% per month of tax allowance, the longer to leave, the waste of money in vain.
A simple summary of the equation before leaving the house: Tax + Act + (check fee *) + (fine *) = the actual balance to be prepared.

ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผมกับการไปต่อภาษีรถยนต์ครั้งล่าสุดนั้น ทำให้เห็นชัดเจนเลยว่าการเตรียมเงินไปแค่ค่าภาษีประจำปีอย่างเดียวไม่พอจริงๆ ครั้งหนึ่งผมไปต่อภาษีโดยคิดว่าเตรียมเงินไปพอดี แต่พอมาถึงต้องจ่ายค่า พ.ร.บ. ที่บังคับใช้และค่าตรวจสภาพรถเพราะรถผมอายุเกิน 7 ปีด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังโดนค่าปรับเพราะขาดต่อภาษีเกินหนึ่งเดือนอีกด้วย ทำให้ต้องเสียเงินมากกว่าที่ตั้งใจไว้เยอะเลย อย่างที่บทความได้แนะนำไว้ การวางแผนเตรียมเงินจ่ายภาษีต้องคิดรวมถึง 4 รายการหลัก ๆ คือ ค่าภาษีประจำปี, ค่า พ.ร.บ. (ประกันภัยภาคบังคับ), ค่าตรวจสภาพรถ (ตรอ.) และค่าปรับกรณีขาดต่อภาษี หากรถผ่านอายุมากกว่า 7 ปีหรือขาดต่อเกิน 1 ปี จะต้องตรวจสภาพรถก่อน และค่าปรับจะถูกคิด 1% ต่อเดือนที่ขาดต่อ ทำให้ยอดรวมเงินที่จะต้องจ่ายสูงขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว ผมแนะนำว่า ก่อนจะไปต่อภาษี ควรตรวจสอบว่ารถของเราขาดต่อภาษีมานานเท่าไหร่ มี พ.ร.บ. หรือไม่ และต้องตรวจสภาพรถหรือเปล่า เพื่อจะได้เตรียมเงินให้เพียงพอและไม่ต้องเสียเวลาเดินทางกลับไปกดเงินเพิ่ม อีกทั้งหากสามารถเช็คเบี้ยภาษีรถยนต์เบื้องต้นจากเจ้าหน้าที่หรือระบบออนไลน์ได้ก็จะดีมาก เพราะช่วยวางแผนเรื่องการเงินได้ดียิ่งขึ้น นอกจากเรื่องค่าใช้จ่ายแล้ว การไปต่อภาษีรถยนต์ไม่ควรใจร้อน ควรเตรียมเอกสารสำคัญครบถ้วน เช่น ใบคู่มือรถ สมุดทะเบียนรถ และหลักฐาน พ.ร.บ. เพื่อให้ขั้นตอนรวดเร็วและไม่เกิดปัญหาในวันทำเรื่องจริง การเตรียมตัวมาอย่างดีจะช่วยลดความเครียด ลดเวลารอคอยที่ขนส่งให้สั้นลง เหมือนกับที่ผมได้เจอเอง สรุปก็คือ การต่อภาษีรถยนต์ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายที่แค่จ่ายค่าภาษีประจำปีเพียงอย่างเดียว การเข้าใจค่าใช้จ่ายแฝงและการเตรียมพร้อมให้ครบถ้วนจะช่วยให้คุณทำเรื่องต่อภาษีได้อย่างราบรื่นและไม่เสียเวลา ทั้งยังไม่ต้องเผชิญกับค่าใช้จ่ายไม่คาดคิดอีกด้วย
