Aesthetic Styling Books You Can’t Miss ✨

I just discovered the cutest faux styling books perfect for neutral decor! They come in a set of three for $34.99, which is a great price since you’d typically pay that for just one or two books.

These hardcover books are versatile with removable covers, allowing you to style them in two ways and match them with your preferred color palette.

Inside, they feature blank pages, perfect for filling with photos, thoughts or just simply leaving as is.

... Read moreI'm so excited about my recent Amazon find, and it got me thinking about how achievable a beautiful, curated home aesthetic can be, even on a budget! If you're like me, you've probably scrolled through countless feeds admiring those perfect coffee table setups with chic hardcover books. Good news – you don't need to spend a fortune to get that 'hardcover book aesthetic' or that coveted 'book and coffee aesthetic minimal' look. Creating Your Dream Coffee Table Display: Once you have your faux books, like the neutral-toned ones I found, the styling possibilities are endless. For a true minimalist vibe, less is often more. Stack two or three books horizontally, perhaps with the largest on the bottom, and top them with a small scented candle, a delicate succulent, or even just a beautiful coaster ready for your morning coffee. The key is to keep colors cohesive – those light-colored faux hardcover styling books I mentioned are perfect for blending into almost any color palette. You can even use the removable covers to switch up your look seasonally or when you redecorate a room. Consider incorporating elements like pampas grass or a small decorative tree, as seen in some of my styling attempts, to add texture and life without overwhelming the space. Beyond Amazon: Hunting for Affordable Decor Books: While my latest find was on Amazon, there are so many other fantastic places to discover affordable decor books, similar to what you might find if you were searching for 'Kmart decor books.' I love browsing stores like Target, HomeGoods, or even local discount retailers for unique pieces. Don't overlook thrift stores or second-hand shops either! You can often find real hardcover books with interesting textures or colors that, once you remove the dust jacket, reveal a beautiful minimalist spine. Sometimes, simply turning the books around so the pages face outwards creates a lovely, uniform look. Online marketplaces like Etsy or Facebook Marketplace can also hide some real gems if you're patient. Remember the OCR mentioned titles like 'Café de Flore,' 'Café Du Monde,' and 'BOHEMIA A COLLECTION OF IMAGES' – these types of elegant, often travel-themed or art-themed books, whether real or faux, instantly elevate your decor. Making Your Faux Books Truly Yours: One of my favorite features of these faux styling books is their blank pages. Initially, I thought they were just for show, but now I see them as a canvas! Instead of leaving them as is, why not transform them into something truly personal? You could: Create a Mini Photo Album: Print out your favorite memories and create a themed photo book. Imagine a 'HOME 01' book filled with pictures of your living space over the years! Start a Journal or Planner: Use it as a discreet place to jot down thoughts, dreams, or daily to-do lists. Build a Vision Board: Cut out inspiring images and quotes to create a compact vision board you can easily update. Design a Guest Book: If you entertain often, a faux book could be a charming guest book for visitors to sign. Hidden Storage: For craftier folks, you could even hollow out some pages to create a secret compartment for small trinkets! These styling books aren't just pretty faces; they're versatile pieces that can add so much character and function to your home. Experiment with different arrangements, personalize them, and enjoy creating a space that truly reflects your style!
