My long hair

I love my long hair.

I’ve been growing it for at least 7 years now.

I don’t dye it or use heat that often, I cut the ends 1-2 inches every 6 months, at night I put it in a bun and sleep with a silk pillow case.

The first step is to establish a consistent routine that includes regular trims, ideally every 6-8 weeks, to get rid of split ends and promote growth. Additionally, incorporating gentle hair care products is essential to prevent damage. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase can significantly benefit your hair by reducing friction and moisture loss overnight. Moreover, using hair ties that won’t cause breakage or stress on the hair shaft is crucial. Natural oils, such as argan oil or jojoba oil, can also help in keeping hair nourished and shiny. Hydration from within is vital, so drinking plenty of water is often overlooked but essential for hair health. Engaging with communities online can provide support and additional tips from fellow long-haired individuals. Sharing your journey and learning from others can be motivating, reminding you that you’re not alone in your hair care efforts.
