Hey :) …. It’s been a minute

Vulnerability

🤍 My Story: it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here because life really do be life’ing and I started school 🙃 and I’ve started back reading books and hit 35 books read in 2025 :)

🤍 How I Felt: the last 6 month of the year are always stressful to me .. but I was giving myself grace day by day.

🤍 My Takeaways: On my down time … I noticed how I’ve been doing a very poor job with choosing myself first 😐… so I’ve been working on me lately. #embracevulnerability #Lemon8Diary #healthylifestylegoals #pretty

... Read moreOver the past months, I’ve realized just how essential it is to grant ourselves grace, especially during stressful times like the latter half of the year. Life’s demands can pull us in many directions—from schooling to personal goals—which made me reflect on the importance of self-prioritization. Often, we get caught up in daily responsibilities, forgetting to check in with our own needs and mental well-being. One thing that helped me was incorporating reading back into my routine. Books have always been a source of comfort and growth for me; hitting 35 books so far in 2025 has been not only a goal but a therapeutic outlet. It’s amazing how dedicating time to activities that nourish the mind can directly impact how vulnerable we allow ourselves to be and how that vulnerability fosters real growth. Choosing myself first doesn’t mean neglecting others—it means valuing my own health and emotions equally. This mindset shift has made a noticeable difference in coping with stress and embracing vulnerability openly. By setting small boundaries and practicing daily self-compassion, I find myself better prepared to handle challenges without the weight of constant pressure. I encourage anyone feeling overwhelmed to pause and reflect on their own self-care rituals. It’s okay to take a step back, reassess, and commit to nurturing yourself. Embrace vulnerability as a strength and a path to authentic living. Life’s ups and downs are inevitable, but how we navigate them can open the door to deeper self-awareness and resilience.
