The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Premiere Night! My honest review✨ no spoilers!

I went to watch the premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and honestly, I really enjoyed it!

From beginning to end, everything feels EPIC. It keeps you entertained the whole time. There’s a lot of nostalgia, and you get to see more powers and game references, with characters getting more action scenes.

You can tell they put a lot of love into this movie in every aspect: the music, the landscapes, the colors, and even the small sound effects that make a big difference. There are also TONS of references throughout, which made it even more fun to watch.

The comedy is great for all ages, which makes it even more enjoyable.

There are so many characters, some very obvious, others a bit unexpected, but I loved the personality they gave to each one. Since this is the second movie, you already feel familiar with their voices and personalities from the first film, and it feels really nice to see them again. You end up getting attached to all of them, and they all look super cool. I also liked how they gave the villains an important role, especially Bowser Jr. I loved him!

One thing I really loved was how many SURPRISE elements there were in the story. It keeps things exciting, and everything connects really well. It all feels smooth and well put together.

I walked out of the theater feeling really happy and satisfied. I went in with no expectations and still had a great time. Of course, they can’t include everything from the games, but you can definitely tell they added way more into this second movie.

Also, make sure to stay until the end. There are 2 post-credit scenes, and they’re really good! It definitely feels like another movie is coming.

Overall, I definitely recommend it. Grab your popcorn and go watch it when you can. You’ll enjoy it a lot! 🍿

Honest Overall rating: Well deserved 10/10 ⭐️🥹

... Read moreAttending The Super Mario Galaxy Movie premiere was an experience that truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out most was how the movie blends nostalgia with fresh excitement, making it enjoyable for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The attention to detail is impressive — from the lush, colorful landscapes reminiscent of iconic game worlds to the intricate sound effects and soundtrack that deepen the immersion. One of the coolest surprises was the inclusion of over-the-top references to various Super Mario powers and games, which brought a smile to my face and encouraged me to think back on favorite moments from the games. I found the pacing remarkably smooth, with every scene flowing logically yet keeping me fully engaged. The characters felt well fleshed out; Bowser Jr.'s expanded role gave a fresh dynamic to the villains’ side that wasn’t just about evil — it showed personality and charm. The comedy suits viewers of all ages, combining clever visual gags with fun dialogue that landed perfectly. I also loved the surprises scattered throughout the story — they maintained excitement without feeling forced or gimmicky. A memorable touch for me was the incredible Yoshi-themed popcorn bucket and character drink cups, including one featuring Bowser, adding a fun collectible element to the premiere experience. Finally, don’t rush out when the credits start rolling. There are two post-credit scenes that seem to promise a sequel, which is something to look forward to. Overall, this movie isn’t just a visual feast; it’s a heartfelt homage to the Super Mario Galaxy universe, delivered with love and creativity. If you appreciate epic storytelling combined with nostalgic gaming moments, this movie is an absolute must-watch. Popcorn ready, go enjoy it!
