Toys my cats love and why! (Check Caption)
My cats are spoiled rotten and as such, they have hundreds of toys! Here are some of their favorites in no particular order;
1 - Plastic Springs - I bought my pack off of Amazon and it came in a pack of 20! All 4 of my cats love these springs! Batting them around causes them to fling pretty far distances, which my cats love to chase after. If you take one and "crunch" it, it makes a distinct noise that gets my cats attention for playtime! While these springs can get easily lost, the fact that my pack came with so many and for super cheap makes this purchase worth it!
2 - SmartyKat Jumbo Carrot - When I say jumbo, I MEAN jumbo! Bjorn is my Maine Coon mix and is by default a bigger cat. He is able to easily grab the carrot and bat at it with his back legs! Despite the big height/length difference between my cats, Bjorn, Bandit and Bea all love this! The tip of the carrot is packed full of catnip which is a huge bonus in our house! I bought mine at Walmart, but I've also seen this on Amazon and in-store at PetSmart and PetCo!
3 - SmartyKat Angled Scratcher - It's not a toy per-say, however my cats love this too much not to mention! All 4 of my cats love this angled scratcher. Ildy prefers this as shown in the photo; whereas Bjorn likes to flip it over and sit on it! The only caveat is that this is a cardboard scratcher, so occasionally I need to dump this in the trashcan and vacuum my living room because of all the little cardboard pieces.
4 - Packed Party Mice - These were a gift from my mom to my cats last Valentines Day! My two younger cats adore these cloth mice! These mice are bigger than some of the other toy mice I've bought in the past and feel more "stuffed". They also have catnip in them, so again, another bonus! Bandit and Bea play with these mice at least once or twice a day, quickly earning their place among the favorite toy list!
