2022 Bride! Simple look for the Beach
I was a 2022 bride. I was dealing with Covid restrictions when getting wedding. We had to have a simple wedding on the beach. I didn't want to go to crazy on the makeup. I love doing my going out makeup like its 2016. This day I wanted to keep it more simple. I went with a local makeup artist from my temple. Came to find out we were distance family memeber!
What do you find of the look? Did my makeup artist do a good job?
Planning a beach wedding during 2022 posed unique challenges, especially when it came to makeup choices. The beach environment, with its wind, humidity, and natural sunlight, calls for a makeup look that balances simplicity with lasting endurance. From my experience, opting for a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer helps maintain a fresh appearance without feeling heavy or cakey in the heat. To keep the look natural yet radiant, focusing on enhancing your features—like soft eyeshadows in neutral tones and a subtle highlighter—can make a big difference. Waterproof mascara and eyeliner are essential to prevent smudging from humidity or happy tears. Additionally, using a setting spray with SPF protects your skin from the sun while helping the makeup stay put throughout the event. Hiring a local makeup artist, especially one familiar with outdoor weddings, can be invaluable. It’s even more special if they have a personal connection, as was true in this case with a family member from the temple. Such artists often understand cultural nuances and personal preferences, ensuring your bridal look feels authentic and comfortable. Ultimately, simplicity during a beach wedding makeup look embraces the natural beauty of the bride and the serene coastal backdrop. Whether you prefer a no-makeup makeup look or subtle glam, the key is to feel confident and at ease on your special day. This approach was a perfect fit for handling 2022's COVID restrictions while celebrating love by the sea.
