Starting a new year always feels like a fresh canvas, and for me, that means a brand new January bullet journal spread! I love the process of setting up my planner for the month ahead, finding simple journal ideas that really work, and incorporating elements that help me stay on track with my goals. When I'm planning my bullet journal January spread, I always start with a main monthly overview. A clear calendar helps me mark important dates and events easily. This year, I'm also really focusing on journal ideas design that combines aesthetics with practicality. I've designed a layout that shows a "month in weeks" view, which is fantastic for seeing the big picture but also has space for daily to-dos. This way, I can quickly glance at my schedule while still having room for detailed notes. Trackers are absolutely essential for my bullet journal. My january mood tracker is always a fun one to fill out, and I like to make it visually engaging with colors that reflect my feelings. Alongside that, I have a productivity tracker to see where my time is really going. This helps me identify patterns and make adjustments if I'm feeling unproductive. And because reading is one of my big goals, I've dedicated a section for a reading log and a "to be read" list – it’s so satisfying to tick off books! For those who love to dive deep into their habits, a detailed habit tracker for things like water intake, workout duration, and even daily pages read can be incredibly insightful. I also tried adding a time tracker this month, breaking down my day by hour to truly understand how I'm spending my time. It’s a great way to be more mindful and efficient. Finally, at the end of the month, I love to set up a "month in review" section. This is where I jot down my favorites, top five lists (songs, movies, restaurants), and take time for reflection and gratitude. It’s a wonderful way to end the month and prepare for the next.
