What do I bring?

I’m going on a Carnival Cruise in less than two weeks!

This isn’t my first time going on a cruise but my first time going with friends rather than family! But it is my friends’ first time so I’m excited to experience it with them!

I have been DOING my research to make sure we have the best time possible and curating packing lists for everyone and letting them know what the best excursions could be and what we should do!

Have you ever been on a cruise before? 🛳️

And if you have what are your must have packing items?

... Read moreSince I’m heading out on my Carnival Cruise in less than two weeks, and it’s my friends’ first time, I've been deep-diving into what truly makes a perfect packing list. You asked what my must-have packing items are, and I'm so excited to share what I've discovered and what I’m definitely bringing on our Carnival Valor adventure! The Absolute Essentials (Don't Forget These!) Documents & IDs: This is number one! Your passport or birth certificate with photo ID, cruise documents, and health insurance info are non-negotiable. I always keep digital copies on my phone and a physical copy separate from the originals. SeaPass Card Holder/Lanyard: Once you get your SeaPass card, it’s basically your life on the ship – room key, payment, ID. A lanyard or a small pouch is a game-changer so you don't have to dig for it constantly. Medication & First Aid: Pack any prescription meds in their original containers. I'm also bringing over-the-counter pain relievers, band-aids, antibiotic ointment, and definitely motion sickness remedies (patches, Dramamine, ginger chews) just in case! Even if you don't usually get seasick, it's better to be prepared. Sun Protection: Sunscreen (lots of it!), a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses are crucial. The sun at sea is intense, and sunburn can ruin a good time. Don't forget after-sun lotion! Clothing for Every Occasion: Swimsuits: At least two! You’ll want one to dry while you wear the other. Casual Daywear: Shorts, t-shirts, sundresses, and comfortable sandals for exploring the ship and port excursions. Think light, breathable fabrics. Dinner Attire: Carnival's dress code is pretty relaxed, but it's nice to have a few 'elegant casual' options for dinner in the main dining rooms. Think collared shirts for guys, and dresses or nice pants/blouses for ladies. For specialty restaurants, you might want to dress up a little more. Workout Clothes: If you plan on hitting the gym or participating in fitness classes. Light Jacket/Sweater: Even in warm climates, the ship's air conditioning can be chilly, especially in the evenings or theaters. Cabin Comforts & Handy Gadgets: Over-the-Door Organizer: This is a lifesaver for small cabin bathrooms! It creates so much extra storage for toiletries, hair products, and small items. Seriously, add this to your list! Magnetic Hooks: Cabin walls are metal! These are perfect for hanging swimsuits to dry, hats, or even light bags to keep things off the floor and maximize space. Portable Charger/Power Bank: Outlets can be limited. A small power bank for your phone is essential for shore excursions and keeping charged while out and about on the ship. *Note: Extension cords with surge protectors are usually prohibited, but a non-surge protector power strip or USB hub is often allowed.* Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! You can fill it up at water stations around the ship. Small Day Bag/Backpack: For shore excursions – to carry water, sunscreen, camera, and souvenirs. A Few Extras for Fun: Highlighter: To mark activities in the Fun Times newsletter. Small Bills: For tips, small purchases in port, or onboard activities like bingo. Theme Night Outfits: Carnival often has themed nights (like "80s night" or "Caribbean night"). Check your specific cruise for details if you like to participate! Don't stress too much – remember you're on vacation! But a well-thought-out packing list, especially for a Carnival Cruise, can make all the difference for a smooth and fun experience. I can’t wait to update you all on our trip aboard the Carnival Valor!

you know your bad habits! deep down, you know exactly what it is keeping you from being the person you want to be, and living the life you want to live ⤵️ it’s easy to set goals! it’s not easy to do the hard work to achieve them - that’s why a lot of people don’t end up where they want to be 🤷🏻‍

Idk what it is but lil tiny miniature versions of things bring me so much happiness. I think Polly pockets instilled that sort of dopamine in me and I will never get over it😭✋ #tinythings #dollhouse #miniature #miniaturetoys #lemon8bookclub #pinterest #Lemon8Diary #lemon8partner #

How to Bring Your Authentic Self to Interviews
Authentic. Genuine. Real. True to YOU! Thinking about having the space to be yourself feels good, right? But being your authentic self can also feel scary, especially during a job search. You might ask yourself: What if they don’t like the real me? What if the real me isn’t “professional” enough
