ジャスミンの香りって「白い花の甘さ」が前に出すぎると、頭が痛くなったり、香りが“濃い”印象になりがち。でもこのpatisserie parfumは、私の肌だと最初に梨・メロンみたいなみずみずしいフルーツ感が立って、そのあとにジャスミンの花らしい透明感がふわっと出てきました。水面にジャスミンの花が浮かぶようなイメージ、という表現がしっくりくるタイプです。 時間が経つとムスクが近くに残って、ジャスミンムスクのやわらかい余韻に。いわゆる「ジャスミン＝濃厚でセクシー」ではなく、清潔感と温かさが軸にあるので、職場や休日のカフェみたいな日常シーンでも使いやすいと思いました。香りの強さは“近づいた時にわかる”くらいに調整しやすいので、私は1〜2プッシュを手首とウエストあたりに。 「ジャスミン×ローズ系の香水はどれを買えばいい？」と迷っている人は、まず自分が欲しいのが“ローズ主役”なのか“ジャスミン主役”なのかで選ぶのがコツ。ローズが主役だと華やかさやパウダリーさが出やすい一方、ジャスミン主役は白い花の透明感や石けんっぽさに寄りやすいです。もし“ローズは少しだけでいい、ジャスミンの花のイメージを崩したくない”なら、こういうジャスミンムスク寄りの香りから入ると失敗しにくいと思います。 あと地味に好きなのが、丸い蓋のボトルデザイン。手に取ったときにコロンと収まりがよくて、置いておくだけでも可愛い。写真を撮ると金色の液体がきらっと見えて、気分が上がります。香り選びに迷ったら、まずは「刺さらないか」「甘さが安っぽくならないか」を基準に試してみると、ジャスミン好きでもハズレを引きにくいです。
