They pack more fiber, keeping you fuller for longer. For weight loss, I usually stick to about a 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of cooked rice per bowl. It’s enough to feel satisfied without overdoing it on calories. Remember, these are "healthy carbs meal" options because we're balancing them with plenty of protein and veggies! The beauty of these "simple weight loss meals" is how easy they are to prep. I’m all about saving time during the week! For example, I often do a big batch of rice or quinoa on Sunday. When it comes to proteins, I’ll marinate my beef, chicken thigh, or shrimp the night before, so they’re ready to cook quickly. Blanching asparagus or chopping broccoli and mushrooms ahead of time makes assembly a breeze. I try to eat 100-120g of protein a day & buying most things in bulk from Costco has helped SO MUCH! I also try to follow a 1:10 ratio of protein:cals as much as I can! So if something has 200 cals, it should have at least 20g protein. Another way to check is to drop the last number from the cal
