Work in Progress Sailor Moon Painting

I love how the original style balances dynamic action with delicate features, creating a cartoonish yet powerful aesthetic. When I approach my own fan art, I strive to maintain that balance, making sure to infuse the painting with the same energy. One of the most rewarding parts is seeing the character truly take shape. For this piece, I focused on a pose with her right hand raised in a waving gesture, against a plain peach background, letting her vibrant presence really shine.
