It's so exciting to share my first art dump here on Lemon8! I've been sketching these furry characters for a while, and it feels great to finally put them out there. For instance, the maniacal laughter of one character, with its prominent 'HA HA HA' text backdrop, really aims to capture an intense, over-the-top emotion. In contrast, another sketch might focus on a more subtle yet equally powerful distressed or angry expression, clearly communicated through furrowed brows and tense posture. Don't be afraid to exaggerate features like pointed ears or even give your characters unique traits like mismatched square eyes to instantly convey personality and a certain aesthetic. My process usually involves a lot of quick, dynamic sketches to get the poses and core expressions just right before I settle on finer details like a character's specific outfit, perhaps a grey coat and blue shirt with a heart.
