S is for Slow Mornings
Things I love in my name. First letter is S.
My S stands for Slow Mornings.
🩷I have the privilege of making my own schedule for work so once I bring my kiddos to school I take time to workout, eat breakfast, shower & most importantly say my prayers, meditate, ground myself, pull oracle cards & journal!
🩷As a Mom, Wife, Massage therapist, Reiki Master & Esthetician business owner if I’m not at my best I can’t help anyone else.
🩷I like most humans suffer from anxiety, decision fatigue & taking on other people’s energies. Having slow mornings helps me have the me time I need before I’m bombarded with my day.
🩷Every morning is not perfect & if I can do at least 2-3 of these things it makes for an amazing rest of my day!

Slow mornings play a vital role in cultivating mindfulness and emotional resilience, especially for those managing anxiety and stress. They allow individuals to prioritize self-care before diving into daily responsibilities. Engaging in practices like meditation, journaling, and grounding oneself fosters a sense of peace and helps manage overwhelming feelings. With the rise in awareness about mental health, more people are recognizing the importance of establishing a calm morning routine as a means to enhance overall well-being. Creating an effective slow morning routine doesn’t require a complete overhaul of one’s schedule; rather, it can be as simple as dedicating just a few moments each day to activities that nourish the soul. This includes savoring a hearty breakfast, enjoying nature, or engaging in creative pursuits such as drawing or reading. Many also find comfort in pulling oracle cards or practicing spirituality to guide their day. Research shows that starting the day right can have exponential benefits on productivity and emotional stability. Acknowledging and respecting personal time significantly boosts one’s ability to engage with family and work responsibilities afterward. The key lies in customizing the morning routine to suit individual needs and preferences, ensuring each morning contributes to a positive mindset that lasts throughout the day. By sharing experiences through community challenges or practices like the #slowmornings movement, individuals can inspire one another to cherish and cultivate their own slow morning rituals.
