Starting my push-up journey was truly a test of patience and determination. Initially, I felt unable to even lift myself off the ground, which made the goal seem daunting. I also learned that it’s completely normal for some days to feel like a step backward. Muscles can feel weaker if they're fatigued or if recovery isn’t optimized. To overcome this, I made sure to incorporate rest days and proper nutrition, which significantly helped my strength improve over time. Perfecting form was another challenge. I began by practicing modified push-ups, such as knee push-ups or wall push-ups, to build the foundational strength safely. Watching tutorial videos and seeking tips on correct hand placement and body alignment made a big difference. I also paid close attention to breathing techniques to maximize efficiency and endurance. Tracking progress visually and mentally kept me motivated. Each small improvement, no matter how minor, was a victory. Unlocking my first full push-up was a proud moment that encouraged me to keep pushing forward.
