At first, I couldn’t even complete one pushup, but by setting small, achievable goals each day, I gradually built my strength and confidence. For anyone starting out, I recommend focusing on correct form rather than speed to prevent injury and maximize benefits. Incorporating pushups into a regular routine helped me track progress effectively. I would suggest starting with modified pushups, such as knee or wall pushups, before advancing to full standard pushups. Over time, I increased my reps incrementally, which encouraged me to keep pushing myself. Nutrition and rest also played a role in my progress. Eating enough protein and staying hydrated supported muscle recovery, while getting adequate sleep allowed me to replenish energy for the next workout. Overall, this journey taught me that consistency, patience, and mindful practice are key. If you’re new to pushups, remember that improvement takes time but each small step forward is a victory. Stay committed, celebrate your milestones, and you’ll see remarkable results just like I did.
