... Read morePregnancy with twins truly brings an entirely different experience compared to a single pregnancy. One thing I've noticed quickly is how often I feel hungry—sometimes every couple of hours. This is because carrying twins requires much more energy and nutrients to support the growth and development of two babies simultaneously. Interestingly, keeping up with this accelerated appetite is a challenge. I've had to rethink my diet and meal timing, opting for nutrient-dense snacks that keep me energized and help maintain my health. Small, frequent meals like nuts, yogurt, fruit, and whole grains have become my saviors. Staying hydrated also feels vital as my body works overtime. Looking back, I laugh at my earlier confidence thinking I'd have more time to enjoy my pre-pregnancy weight and routines. That month of bliss was short-lived! Yet, despite the exhaustion and constant cravings, I find humor in the chaos and joy in each milestone of this journey. If you’re expecting twins or know someone who is, remember that increased hunger is normal and your body is working hard. Embrace balanced nutrition, prioritize self-care, and don’t be afraid to share your experiences—they help build a supportive community where we can laugh and navigate this incredible journey together.
