a spiritual book that i’ve been enjoying 📚
hello! 👋🏻
i’ve been reading this book for the past two weeks, and i feel like it speaks to me, in many ways. somehow, the words just flows and makes me feel so seen. it has been a beam of joy for me to sit down and reflect about life - and yes it does have themes of allah, and i love that.
it doesn’t really tell me how to fix my life - but it does get me helps me understand the value of reconnecting my heart.
i love that the author connects the act of remembering Allah with grounding yourself in the now, as if every moment is an opportunity for quiet worship.
i’m only half way through it but i deeply feel like gosh i feel like i’m talking to someone who sees me. i would say the theme of the book is rediscovering meaning, gratitude and connection to faith. it also got me to deeply reflect - also because i feel that life has been very mundane, very focused on going through the motions and the routines. i guess i find myself disassociate throughout the days and suddenly when i read this book - it forces me to be present in the moment.

Reading this book has been a transformative experience for me, much like slowing down in a fast-paced world and finding blessings in the little things. I realized that life often pushes us to keep going without pause, rushing through mornings and daily tasks on autopilot. This book gently reminds me to slow down, be fully present, and appreciate each moment as an opportunity for quiet worship and gratitude. What struck me most is how the author connects the remembrance of Allah with grounding oneself in the now. This resonated deeply because it highlighted that spirituality doesn't always require grand gestures but can thrive in small, mindful practices throughout the day. By embracing this perspective, I’ve found myself reconnecting to a sense of peace even amid life’s mundane routines. The book's themes of rediscovering meaning and connection to faith are powerful tools against the disassociation and robot-like cycle I sometimes fall into. It urges an awakening to the here and now, inviting a feeling of being truly seen and understood. This shift in awareness encourages a gentle pause and reflection, which has brought a beam of joy and clarity into my life. If you, too, feel caught in the rush and crave deeper spiritual fulfillment, I recommend taking the time to read and reflect on this book. It’s a beautiful companion for anyone looking to reignite their faith, cultivate gratitude, and find spiritual grounding amidst everyday life.
