ใครกำลังเสิร์ชหา “Zafran Eatery” หรือ “อาหารอินเดีย One Bangkok” แล้วลังเลว่าจะเริ่มสั่งอะไรดี เราว่าร้านนี้เหมาะมากสำหรับมือใหม่ เพราะรสชาติค่อนข้างเข้าถึงง่าย กลิ่นเครื่องเทศชัดแต่ไม่แรงจนกลัว แถมสาขา One Bangkok อยู่ชั้น B1 เดินไม่ยาก เหมาะกับนัดเพื่อนมากๆ ทริคเล็กๆ ก่อนสั่ง (จากประสบการณ์คนเพิ่งลองครั้งแรก) 1) ถ้าไม่มั่นใจเรื่องความเผ็ด/เครื่องเทศ ลองเริ่มจาก Butter Chicken คู่กับ Butter Naan ก่อนเลย เป็นเซ็ตที่ “ปลอดภัย” ที่สุด ซอสจะมันนัว หอมเครื่องเทศนุ่มๆ แล้วนานเนื้อนุ่มชุ่มเนยช่วยบาลานซ์รส ทำให้กินเพลินมาก 2) เมนูเล่นสนุกต้อง Pani Puri เป็นคำเล็กๆ แต่รสจัดครบ เปรี้ยวหวานเค็มเผ็ด เวลาเรากินคือชอบตรงได้ตักไส้มันฝรั่งกับถั่วลูกไก่ใส่เอง แล้วค่อยเติมซอส/น้ำตามที่ชอบ แนะนำให้ชิมทีละนิดก่อน เพราะรสจะพุ่งเร็ว แต่สนุกมากสำหรับคนอยาก “ลองอะไรใหม่ๆ” 3) ถ้าอยากชิมหลายอย่างในมื้อเดียว ให้สั่ง Thali (อย่าง Maharaja Thali แบบ non-veg) เราว่าคุ้ม เพราะได้ครบทั้งแกงหลายชนิด ไรต้า (โยเกิร์ตผัก) ข้าวบาสมาติ นาน ปาปาดัม และของหวานอย่างกุหลาบจามุน ข้อดีคือได้ลองรสชาติหลายแนวในถาดเดียว แล้วจะรู้เลยว่าเราชอบแกงแบบไหนเป็นพิเศษ ครั้งหน้าค่อยสั่งเป็นจานเดี่ยว 4) Steam Momo เหมาะเป็นเมนูเบรกๆ ระหว่างแกง เพราะเป็นเกี๊ยวนึ่งไส้ไก่ที่หอมเครื่องเทศเบาๆ กินกับซอสรสเผ็ดเปรี้ยวแล้วตัดเลี่ยนดีมาก เรื่องการกินให้เข้าที่: เราชอบใช้ “ไรต้า” เป็นตัวช่วยล้างปาก เวลากินอะไรเข้มๆ แล้วตามด้วยไรต้าจะรู้สึกสดชื่นขึ้น หรือถ้าเผลอสั่งเผ็ดไป ไรต้าก็ช่วยลดความร้อนได้ระดับหนึ่ง งบประมาณ: จากที่ลองมา ถ้าสั่งแชร์กัน 2–3 คนจะสนุกและคุมงบง่าย (ประมาณ 200–400 บาท/คนตามที่ร้านและจำนวนเมนู) โดยรวมเราว่า Zafran Bangkok โดยเฉพาะสาขา One Bangkok เป็นตัวเลือกที่ดีมากสำหรับคนอยากเริ่มต้นเปิดใจอาหารอินเดียแบบไม่กดดัน และยังได้เมนูดังๆ อย่าง Butter Chicken, Butter Naan, Pani Puri, Thali และ Steam Momo ครบในร้านเดียว
