The idea of subtracting the old nature encourages me to deliberately let go of past habits and thoughts that no longer serve my faith or character. I remember how challenging it was initially to 'put off' certain attitudes, as mentioned in Ephesians 4:22, but this subtraction is vital for making room for new growth. Adding love is the most beautiful part of this equation. Not just any love, but a sacrificial kind that extends even to enemies, which I discovered is something Jesus commands us to practice. This addition doesn’t just improve our relationships; it transforms our hearts in deep ways. Through love, I found my faith becoming more alive and genuine. Dividing to discern good from evil has helped me when making difficult decisions. Instead of seeing the world in black and white, this spiritual division allows me to think critically and prayerfully about what aligns with God's will. It’s about separating truth from lies and making wise choices. Finally, multiplication is the real game-changer. Sharing what God has done in our lives isn’t just about telling stories; it’s about expanding God’s Kingdom on earth. I personally experienced more confidence and joy when I shared my testimony with others—it multiplied not only my faith but also inspired those around me. This teaching reminded me that faith involves active participation, much like an equation that needs balancing and constant adjustment. If you’re ready to multiply the Kingdom, don’t hesitate to start with small steps—share a testimony, show love intentionally, and continually renew your mind. It’s a beautiful, transformative process that I’m grateful to be part of.
