Aizawa x Y/N Ep 8
Wow, what a whirlwind this first week has been! It feels like just yesterday I was packing my bags, nervous about starting as the new girl at UA. Honestly, if it wasn't for Mina, I think I'd still be hiding in a corner somewhere, trying to avoid eye contact. She's just... incredible! From the moment we met, she's been a non-stop force of positivity and curiosity. Today was no different. We were walking down the bustling hallway, and she was, as usual, bombarding me with a variety of questions. 'So, what's your favorite hero move, Y/N? Do you think Present Mic's hair is natural? What's your top pick for lunch today?' Her questions come so fast sometimes, it's hard to keep up! But I wouldn't trade it for anything. Her energy is infectious, and it’s exactly what I needed to shake off those lingering new-kid jitters. I found myself smiling genuinely, responding to her rapid-fire inquiries about everything from quirk training to the best spots in the city for bubble tea. Being the new girl at a prestigious hero academy like UA is a lot, you know? Every day feels like a new challenge, a new lesson, both in heroics and just... navigating high school. But having Mina by my side, her bright pink skin and even brighter personality, makes it all so much easier. She’s already pointed out all the secret shortcuts, the best vending machines, and even given me the lowdown on which teachers are the strictest. And yes, she was definitely referring to Mr. Aizawa! Speaking of Mr. Aizawa, he's definitely... something else. That tired gaze, the way he just rolls himself up in his sleeping bag in the middle of class – it's both intimidating and kind of endearing in its own way. I’ve only had a few classes with him so far, but you can tell he genuinely cares about his students, even if he expresses it in the most 'Aizawa' way possible. He pushes us, not just physically, but mentally, making us think critically about our quirks and our future as heroes. I sometimes catch myself observing him, wondering what goes on behind those perpetually tired eyes. There's so much more to him than meets the eye, I just know it. It's a strange feeling, this pull of curiosity towards someone so seemingly unapproachable. I'm starting to get used to the rhythm of UA, the constant hum of powerful quirks, the ambitious dreams of my classmates. It’s a lot to take in, but I'm slowly finding my footing. And honestly, a big part of that is thanks to Mina's relentless enthusiasm and, surprisingly, the quiet, watchful presence of our homeroom teacher. It’s an adventure, this whole hero-in-training thing, and I can't wait to see what Episode 9 brings for me, Mina, and maybe, just maybe, some more unexpected moments with Mr. Aizawa. Every day feels like a new chapter, full of potential and new discoveries. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me, especially as I delve deeper into understanding the enigmatic Erasure Hero. I have a feeling things are just getting started for Y/N at UA, and I'm ready for it.
