Many of you ask about the best way to tackle these concerns, and from my own experience, consistency and the right products make all the difference. My night routine is specifically designed to work while I sleep, helping my skin repair and regenerate more effectively. Here's my exact step-by-step process for a night routine that truly targets dark spots and hyperpigmentation: Cleanse Thoroughly: I always start with a gentle yet effective cleanser. This is non-negotiable! It removes all makeup, dirt, and impurities from the day, allowing my other products to penetrate better. Think of it as preparing a clean canvas for your skin treatments. Tone & Hydrate: After cleansing, I follow up with a hydrating toner or essence. This step balances my skin's pH and adds an extra layer of moisture, making it more receptive to the active ingredients coming next. Sometimes I'll use a specific hydrator if my skin feels particularly dry. Target with a Dark Spot Serum: This is where the heavy lifting for hyperpigmentation really begins. I apply a dedicated serum for dark spots, focusing on areas where I have more discoloration. I gently pat it in and let it absorb for a minute or two. This serum usually contains ingredients like Vitamin C, niacinamide, or alpha arbutin, which are fantastic for brightening. The Magic of Facial Oil Application: Now for my favorite part – facial oil! This is often the step people are unsure about. I usually apply my facial oil after my serum and before or mixed with my moisturizer, depending on the oil's consistency and my skin's needs.
