Oh my gosh, you guys! I'm still buzzing from my latest Barnes & Noble haul. I finally got my hands on 'The Unofficial Cookbook of A Court of Thorns and Roses: A Feast of Thorns and Roses' and 'The Unofficial A Court of Thorns and Roses Cocktail Book,' and I literally cannot wait to dive in! If you're an ACOTAR fan like me, these books are an absolute dream come true for bringing the magic of Prythian into your kitchen. I've been eyeing these ACOTAR recipes for ages, and seeing them in person just took my excitement to another level. The cookbook, 'A Feast of Thorns and Roses,' looks incredible with sections like 'Feasts Fit for High Fae' and 'Seven Courts, Eight Sweets.' I'm already imagining myself whipping up some 'Magical Morsels' for a themed brunch. And let's not forget the 'Brunch with Elain, Cerridwen' section – perfect for a cozy weekend morning. I love how detailed the table of contents is, giving you a peek into all the deliciousness inspired by the series. Then there's the cocktail book! Seriously, 'Drinks with the Inner Circle' sounds like my kind of party. I spotted some amazing themed drinks in the recipe index, like 'Rhysand's Calming Tea,' 'Nesta's Dirty Martini,' and even 'The Bloody Amren.' How cool is that? My fiancé is just as hyped as I am, and we’re already planning our very first Acotar dinner themed around these books. We're thinking of making a full spread, maybe starting with one of the a feast of thorns and roses recipes from the cookbook and pairing it with a signature cocktail. One thing I'm really looking forward to is experimenting with ingredients to make these fantasy-inspired dishes a reality. The 'Rhysand's Calming Tea' recipe, with its detailed ingredients and method, looks like a great place to start for a relaxing evening. I mean, who wouldn't want a bit of Velaris in a mug? I'm curious what other a feast of thorns and roses style creations I can come up with using these as a base. For anyone else who loves the idea of bookish recipes or is searching for just add magic cookbook recipes for their favorite fantasy series, I highly recommend checking these out. They're not just recipe collections; they're an experience, a way to immerse yourself even deeper into Sarah J. Maas's incredible world. I’ll definitely be sharing my culinary journey and reviews of the specific recipes I try, so stay tuned for updates on our ACOTAR dinner party!
