FS8 Pilates Marina Bay: 🧘🏻‍♀️🔥 My sweaty review 📝

✨ FS8 🏋️

I visited the Marina Bay outlet! The environment is minimalist 😆, high-end, and clean, with a super chill atmosphere. They offer a trial price of $125 for 5 classes (previously $89, but it's sold out now). Still, it's a pretty good deal ~ recommend giving it a try 🧘🏻‍♀️.

update: $89/5 class trial is available at siglap outlet rn

Let's talk about the pros first ✅:

The space is super new and comfortable, feels clean and minimal. The instructor is quite friendly, occasionally providing adjustments. Each class has demonstration videos on the screen, making it easy to follow along 🌀.

Class Introduction:

- OG: Highly recommended for beginners, slow pace + friendly movements

- Blast: Full intensity! Really gets you sweating 🔥

- Flex: Focuses on core training, be prepared for a soreness 😮‍💨

- Remix: Bed + mat mix-up, very interesting!!

- Reformer: Most movements are done on the machine,

❌ However, I didn't like the mat+ bed concept hahah. I personally find it annoying to switch from bed to mat. felt like my flow was disrupted... The instructor can't attend to everyone individually, sometimes feeling like a free-range style 😂. Despite the demo videos, I wanted more guidance 🥺.

📌 Interested? Buy the trial pack on the official website 📎. Don't forget to bring a water bottle + non-slip socks, and you're all set ~

... Read moreApart from the Marina Bay outlet, FS8 also offers classes at other locations like Siglap and Bukit Timah, with slight variations in trial prices and class packages. For example, the Siglap outlet currently has a trial price of $89 for 5 classes, a more budget-friendly option compared to Marina Bay. Memberships are flexible, ranging from drop-in classes at $45 each to multi-class packs and monthly subscriptions for those who want a consistent workout routine. If you’re interested in trying intermediate or advanced Pilates at FS8, the Blast and Flex classes are excellent choices. Blast is high intensity and guaranteed to leave you sweating, while Flex focuses on core training and flexibility, ideal for those wanting to build strength and mobility. The Reformer class uses equipment and is suited for those looking for a more machine-assisted workout. When attending your class, bring your own water bottle and non-slip socks for safety and comfort. While the instructors are friendly, the large class sizes mean you might not get one-on-one attention as much as you'd expect, so make sure to follow the demonstration videos closely. If you’re a beginner, the OG class is slower paced, which helps you ease into Pilates movements. From personal experience and feedback, some find switching between the mat and bed in Remix classes slightly disruptive to flow, so you may want to try different classes to see which suits your style better. Booking your trial pack on FS8’s official website ensures you get the best pricing and availability. Overall, FS8 offers a modern Pilates experience with quality facilities and diverse classes for all fitness levels.
