This can manifest as one person constantly feeling like a “third wheel,” even when everyone genuinely cares for each other. Actively involve them in conversations, ask for their opinion, and make sure spontaneous plans include them. It’s also important to manage expectations. Not every single outing or conversation has to involve all three of you. Sometimes, one-on-one time with each friend can strengthen individual bonds without threatening the trio.
