Suffering Christians
When we make Christ Jesus the center of our lives we won’t suffer in the same way the rest of the world suffers. Everyone suffers no matter what you believe in but what I mean by that is once you let the Lord dwell in your life, you will have hope. That’s what he does. He gives us hope during our suffering.
One of the most important things we can do during our suffering is continue living your faith consistently in a way that makes other people seek you out because you have something that they don’t.
We can have hope because we know a God who can’t fail. We can have peace because we serve a God who told a storm to stop and the wind and waves obeyed like well behaved children.
We have a God to run to who knows exactly how to tend to our grief because he created us.
It says in 1 Peter 3:15: “Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”
When someone sees that you have strength even through your sufferings, more times than not, it will make them question, what gives you that strength. They will be drawn to your stability, your optimism, and your confidence in the Lord.
