Learning, Creating, and Growing Together

Helping my daughter nurture her passion for art has slowly reawakened a spark I lost. I’ve been encouraging her creativity since she was two, the only time I pick up a pencil is when we spend quality time together yet I haven’t picked up a pencil to draw myself since high school. This day by the lake, painting side by side, stirred something in me I never expected to feel again. I found myself really enjoying watercolor as a medium—and maybe, just maybe, it’s something I’ll keep exploring for fun. We’ll see.
