Bible Study— The Date Is Set

Lately I’ve been thinking about how much I talk about obedience, and how easy it is to quietly delay the things God keeps nudging me toward.

This Bible study has been one of those things.

I knew I wanted to do it. I felt the pull toward it. But I kept stalling because I wanted it to feel more “ready.” More organized. More thought through. I kept telling myself I’d start once it felt perfect, which honestly just meant once it felt safe.

I listened to a pastor recently who talked about how much God rewards small obedience. The kind where you move even when it still feels unfinished. Like He’s not waiting for you to have it all figured out, He’s waiting for you to take a step.

It reminded me that I need to practice what I’m always encouraging others to do. I try to live that way, not perfectly obviously. And this felt like one of those moments where obedience looks less like confidence and more like trust.

So I’m starting.

I’ll be hosting a 30 minute Bible study Saturday, February 14th at 8pm. EST. Nothing fancy. Just space to read, talk, and learn together.

If you’ve been waiting for things to feel more put together before starting something God’s been placing on your heart, this is me reminding myself and maybe you too that sometimes the move comes first.

After this first one, Bible study will be Monday through Thursday at 8pm. I’ll include a link in my bio that takes you straight to it.. once I figure out how to do it 🤭

Also, this beautiful necklace is from a

From my own experience, the hardest part is often overcoming the hesitation to start. It’s easy to convince ourselves that we need more time, better materials, or a more organized plan before we can truly commit. But the beauty lies in trusting God’s timing and stepping forward anyway. In fact, small acts of obedience are often where growth happens. It reminds me of how grace works—not because we have everything figured out, but because we are willing to take that initial step with trust. When I started attending my first small group Bible study, I felt unsure and unprepared, but that space became a place of encouragement and learning. The connection with others who were also growing in faith made the journey fulfilling. Melissa’s invitation to a weekly Bible study resonates because it focuses on simplicity—just a shared time for reading, discussion, and learning. It removes the pressure to be perfect and highlights community and connection, which are essential for spiritual growth. If you’ve been delaying starting a faith project or study because it doesn’t feel “ready,” this perspective might encourage you to move forward despite imperfections. Additionally, supporting Christian-based small businesses like @Grace and Glory Jewelry, as Melissa mentions, fosters a positive community spirit. Wearing meaningful jewelry can serve as a personal reminder of faith and the commitment to live it out daily. Overall, the key takeaway is that obedience and faith often look like trust more than confidence. It’s about responding to that gentle nudge, making that move, and embracing growth step by step, trusting that God honors even small acts of faith.

I will definitely be there. I'm adding this to my calendar now. I love listening to your videos, your explanations & Christian ✝️ guidance. Your voice is very reassuring & calm & seems so knowledgeable! Tysm for this, I've been wanting to join a Bible study but just wasn't sure who to go with. I just recently started one on my own but I think I'll do better with a group to see & hear other perspectives. ❤️
