How early is too early to speak to an ID?
Now that we’re just a few days away from selecting our unit and possibly getting the keys in a few months, I can’t help but wonder: how early is too early to start planning? 🤔
We’re still undecided on when to begin renovations, before the wedding or after? It feels like such a tricky balance between timing, budget, and energy. 😮💨
& if anyone has an ID to recommend, please send it my way, would greatly appreciate it!!! :)
Planning a home renovation can be overwhelming, especially with major life events like a wedding on the horizon. From my experience, the best time to speak to an interior designer is as soon as you have a clear idea of your living space. Early consultation helps you avoid regrets and make cohesive design decisions that just make sense for your kitchen and other rooms. I found that discussing plans early also allows for better budgeting and scheduling. If you wait too long, you might rush into costly changes or miss out on great design ideas. On the flip side, starting too early without a set timeline can lead to fatigue and burnout. It’s all about finding that balance. Feel free to reach out to interior designers early in the process—not only to get inspired but also to understand realistic timelines and expenses. Trust me, involving a pro sooner rather than later saved me stress and helped create a home that truly feels right.
